Phillip Anderson, a lifelong and fourth-generation resident of Ashtabula County, takes great pride in his community. He earned a BA in Finance from Mount Union College and an MBA in Finance from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management. Phillip lives in Geneva, OH, with his wife, Allison, and their three children, Graham, Sawyer, and Julia.
As a consultant, Phillip is dedicated to helping clients identify and achieve their individual investment goals. He strongly believes in the relationship between investment planning and long-term financial goals and advocates for value-oriented investing. In the office, he divides his time between client relationships and researching economic and company-specific issues.
Before joining Wells Fargo Advisors in 2013, Phillip spent over five years in equity research with Longbow Research. During his tenure, he contributed to teams recognized for outstanding institutional research by the Wall Street Journal (2012) and StarMine/Financial Times (2010, 2012). He previously held various roles with Bank of America, culminating in his position as a Senior Credit Analyst.
Outside of work, Phillip enjoys cooking, following Cleveland’s professional sports teams, and spending time outdoors with his family. He actively contributes to his local community, serving on the board of directors of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce and Geneva Soccer. He has also previously served on the boards of the Northeast Ohio Regional Airport and the Ashtabula Arts Center.
